President of Public Relay visits Cavan Digital Hub
Cavan Digital Hub are delighted to welcome leading US media monitoring and analytics firm Public Relay into the building. With a team already based in the US and in Dublin, Cavan was selected as a location for their second office here in Ireland. Currently recruiting, they hope to create over 20 new jobs in the region over the next two years.
President & CEO of the company Eric Koefoot, along with Drew Pyrak, Senior Director of Operations, took time out of their busy schedules this week to visit Cavan Digital Hub. Here, they were warmly welcomed by Tommy Ryan, Chief Executive, Cavan County Council, Brendan Jennings, Chairperson & Director, Cavan Digital Hub, Leanne Connell, Cavan Digital Hub Manager, James Boyle, Regional Manager North East, IDA, and Kathleen Bohan, Vice President Emerging Business, IDA.
Mr Koefoot also had a chance to meet the first of his new recruits that will be based here in Cavan: “We are more excited than ever to build out our team in Cavan”. He also took a tour of Cavan Digital Hub and viewed all the facilities that will enable his team to thrive. The team have access to meeting rooms with high quality video conference equipment, coinciding with the Hub’s high-speed broadband, ensuring ease of communication with their US counterparts. The flexibility of access into the building (24hours, 7 days a week, 365 days a year) using their fobs means that staff have the option to work to US time on occasion.
The IDA have played a strong role in promoting Cavan as a destination for Public Relay. The Hub has been an ideal location for the company to build their base. Mr Koefoot stated that “the educated, friendly workforce and proximity to our Dublin office make Cavan an ideal location to expand our presence in Ireland”.
We look forward to supporting Public Relay in any way that we can over the coming months and years in their business growth.
